We are a Gitxsan led nonprofit organization. At the heart of our mission is the creation of high-quality Gitxsanimx̱ language materials—audio, video, digital, and written—that reflect our community’s knowledge, voices, and creativity. These resources are living expressions of who we are, where we come from, and where we’re going.

A major focus of our efforts lives on the Gigeenix̱ Gitxsanimx̱ page on FirstVoices. This vibrant platform is where much of our society’s work takes shape—through songs, stories, word lists, and learning tools—all carefully developed to honour our ancestors and empower future generations.

We work with linguists, language activists, Elders, fluent speakers, and anyone with an interest in Indigenous language preservation. We strive to create an inclusive space to ensure that the Gitxsan language and culture will be celebrated and respected by all.

We’re proud to be part of a growing movement to revive, echo, and carry forward the breath of our ancestors—keeping the Gitxsanimx̱ language alive and thriving for generations to come.
