Northern Horizons Horse-Powered Learning Society is a non-profit organization located on the unceded territory of the Gitxsan Nation.

Its mission is to fund and provide educational opportunities for people of all ages to experience the benefits of interacting with equines through:

Unmounted equine-assisted learning programs that teach life skills through experiential and objective-driven group activities

Equine-facilitated development that fosters personal growth, emotional healing and self-discovery

Local events and activities that promote and enhance equine well-being, health and safety

Structured training programs that foster increased knowledge in equine wellness and unmounted equine-assisted/facilitated learning modalities
